As of November 2005, John became an elected member of the Egg Harbor Township Committee.  In addition to his role as Committeeman, John also serves our community as a Liaison to the EHT Recreation Committee, Liaison to the EHT Environmental Commission, and a member of the Budget Committee.

 John is a former Atlantic County Freeholder (10 years), and continually shares his knowledge and insight with the residents of  Egg Harbor Twp. Prior to his moving to Egg Harbor Twp, John was a Past President of the Mainland Regional Board of Education, Past President of the Somers Point Council, as well as a Former Member of the Linwood City Council.

John is President of L.O. Thomas & Co., Inc., an investments and securities firm.  He is married and has 3 children.
